So Beautiful! Such a Shame!!

This should have been my daughter's dress. The color and beading are stunningly gorgeous. Unfortunately, the back is so open that it doesn't fit properly. The positioning of the strap felt a little off, like they would migrate. If only it had been designed with crisscrossing straps, like 90% of the pom dresses today!!! Not only would it have made the dress even cuter, and more complimentary, (because even the most fit women look better with a bit more back coverage), but it would have made the dress fit better. As it was, my curvy size 1/2 daughter could not have felt comfortable wearing the dress to Prom, and-- heaven forbid-- dancing. She would have been yanking and readjusting all night. I thought about sewing ribbon on, but: 1. It's the prom: I don't really sew, and don't want to mess up the dress. 2. It's only the prom: I'd rather buy a different dress, and expend less effort. If you sew, and a slight alteration doesn't phase you, this dress is worth it!

Beautiful, but…

This dress is gorgeous. However, it’s cut so far in that anytime my daughter sat in it, you could see right into the dress. There was no way to not expose herself. subs people use tape? It doesn’t work for her.
