Terrible customer service and shopping experience

It was the worst experience I ever had with Macy's. I placed this order a month ago. The item was shipped right away, but it was not available information to tracking a shipment . After a month of shipment status "On the Way" to me, the order was canceled by help desk and refunded my payment without any notification or explanation . When I called to the help desk with my disagreement about it, help desk representative told me, that the shipment was over 16 days and my order was canceled automatically . I insisted , that it was not my fault and I still need this item, because it was a gift. The representative told me, that I can reorder the item, but for the full price. When I initially order it, it was a price promotion . The representative refused to match the price, even it was absolutely May's mistake from beginning . It looks like, it is no any reasonable customer service responsibility, no management , no commitment. Who cares about me, small customer , if Macy's is a giant. But all army of Macy's customers start from a single customer , like me.
