Misleading website pictures

I loved the dress based on the four pictures on Macy's website. This dress does not have the slit as shown on two pictures. Spoke to customer service who stated it was most likely a faulty dress. She suggested I reorder and i did. Its the same dress no slit. I loved the colors and kept it for a beach wedding but I am paying a dress altercation woman to cut the slit. The dress needs it as it is very full from waist down.

The photos show a spilt on the left leg and my dress dosen't have one
