Change of lace

Sneakers are everything I expected. Personally I would prefer a different lace. A round body vs a flat lace.

No cushion/support

Bought these because I needed new shoes and they looked great. But I over pronate, wear size 14, and I'm on my feet all day. Looks is far as it goes and comfortablity with support is out the window. Definitely not the Asics I remember.

Tore up my heel

I had these shoes for about a month and a half, and they tore up the back of my heel twice before I had to abandon them. The first time, I got a small blister, but the next time I ended up with a 2 inch diameter blood blister. Threw the shoes in the trash and didn't look back.

Good Quality, good shoes, reasonable price

I only wear Asics! These Gel-Contend 8's are good shoes, and the reasonable price I paid reflect that. Next time I am moving up a class or two in quality as these are good basic shoes, not great. Not to say I do not like them, I do. Just feel a bit off form my last pair.
