Not worthy of 5 stars by any means

I am a gourmand/oriental perfume wearer, and the description of the notes seemed right up my alley. Although it is a very dangerous practice to "blind buy" perfumes, and I know this- against my better judgement, I did it anyways. The fact that I got this on sale definitely makes up for the fact that I don't LOVE this perfume, and here's why- Staying power is non-existent. Brazen is she who claims this to be an EDP. I call b.s. Sillage leaves more to be desired. The Vanilla note seems washed out, and is only truly evident upon the first spray and maybe a few mins afterward. This is a beautiful scent, warm and sweet, but just not blown outta the water and did not meet my expectations. Also, brazen is she who claims this scent is worthy of 5 stars. This is exactly why I don't trust reviews as I once did. Either one is incentivized to write such reviews, or one is not experienced with perfumes- which I do indeed purport to be. I write this review candidly, from my own experience.Love+Light
