True to Size

The size 8M was true to size and width for me. The color Platinum is a light, pretty, gold. The wedge heel is not as narrow as most. It is not gold like the shoe, but not too noticeable. Unfortunately, the cut is too low, right across the top of my big toe. They feel comfortable for walking, but I'm not sure I can stand the rub.

Fit, cost and convenience

I like the shoes. Length and width are good, but the heel does not fit right. I had to get heel liners to take up the gap. Not being able to go to a store and try on the shoe is an inconvenience. Macy's closed in Waterford and now I have to go online to purchase. Guess that is what it is going to be for most brick-and-mortar stores. It's also more costly because of shipping charges!

Anne Klein shoes

Ordeed these shoes in platinum. The color was actually bright gold. I returned them because of this, but have to say the sizing was very true and this is a comfortable shoe. The shoes smelled like bug spray meets turpentine. I think it must have been the metalic finiish, i have these in another color and there is no odor.
