defected

I bought this because I found it to be a beautiful watch that was not pricey. Got it on a nice deal for the christmas holiday. Unfortunately, from the first time I used it the time stop and it continued to happen. I thought it was maybe a dead battery issue. Stop using and just now went to my jeweler who examined the watch and mentioned the battery is fine, The inside of the watch does not indicate any trauma, not sure but I wore it again and surely the time stop. At this point, I am not going to get a refund its been 6 months, so Im at a loss for the money I spent.
