Classic, warm peacoat

This coat is well made and warm, It fits well and has room for my hips. The pockets are nice sized. The design is classic. The fabric, although it feels quality, is kind of stiff--although in my experience, that is pretty usual for a peacoat. It actually feels more like a real sailor peacoat due to this. Undecided yet on whether I'm keeping it, as I need to compare with another coat still coming in the mail.

I like it

I"m a big gal and I know that. THis coat looks fine in a 3x. I ordered blue and it's a nice royal blue. It is a warm coat. The arms are a bit roomy however when I have a lot of clothes on I will be able to move freely so it's good. The length is great for me, walker length covers my rear. I have never had a double breasted coat but I like it, just getting that top button into the hole at the neck was hard. once I got it I really liked that it doesn't choke me yet it will keep my neck warm and covered. I am not sure if I will keep it as I did order 2 other coats but I feel like this might be the keeper. Give it a try.

Love, hate relationship

I am a BIG fan of peacoats and this particular one was a hit and a miss. The fit is good and it drapes well on the body. However, the material is stiff. Its a great look if you want to wear it open with layers underneath, otherwise you look like a zombie. Funny I wouldn't return it. Maybe the fabrics will loosen up a bit.
