Designed by Victor Brenner in honor of the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln's birth, this penny was introduced in 1909. The first year of issue, Lincoln wheat-ear pennies were minted of 95% copper. The two piece set includes a 1909 wheat penny and a 1909 VDB wheat penny.
