Big Disappointment, not worth the money

the plates were a nice size but there were burrs from the clay, on the bottom where the glaze did not reach which could cause scratches to a table, the dishes were obviously hand thrown, they were not even and a couple of the dinner plates looked wavy when viewed from the side. The mugs are huge, way to big for the plate size. I was very disappointed because I was so looking forward to getting these dishes

Amazing set of dinnerware at a very low price. As other reviewers have said, there are some "imperfections" but they make this dishes look authentically rustic and vintage. If you want to make this set totally spectacular, consider adding some beautiful items from Fitz & Floyd's' Toulouse collection, especially the green Toulouse Salad Plates and small bowls and matching pitcher. Be sure to order the green color; not the blue. I looked on-line for hours to find dinnerware to compliment my Toulouse pieces, and this set is perfect.
