Good Fit
I'm using the AllerEase waterproof mattress cover for our guest twin beds. It fitted very well on the mattress, does not appear to be too noisy and is definitely waterproof. I feel that my mattresses will be protected from stains, so I'm pleased with the purchase.

Quiet waterproofing
Nice quality and the waterproofing is quiet, not crinkly sounding when i roll over at night

I would never buy this mattress protector again
When changing the bedding, specifically the mattress topper, I was disgusted to find that this mattress protector was stained black with mildew. My mattress underneath was perfectly fine; clean, dry and no mildew staining. I have never had this happen in over 40 years of using a simple vinyl, zippered mattress protector. Going back to vinyl.

That 1%
I bought this a week or so ago. To protect from bed bugs. Mattress completely enclosed and I still spot bed bugs. Where's the lifetime warranty in that? I'm not say the overall product is crappy . I may have gotten a faulty one. I may be that 1% that it didn't work for.

Only fits 10-11" depth; slippery.
Our 12" mattress is squeezed so tightly now that my kid's medium-firm mattress is a rockhard mess (like a punishingly painful trampoline) that gives him headaches to sleep on. The 12" mattress is too tall for the allerease's seams to sit evenly on the edges, and the 9" is too small, so it makes any bed look sloppy. I am actively telling everyone I know how trashy this product is and how it unequivocally misrepresents the capacity of the product.

Noisy plastic
I bought this about a month ago to protect the 2 new mattresses I purchased hoping for protection, breathability, and temperature regulation. The box says Ultimate Cotton so I unfortunately assumed it was cotton. Putting it on was not a problem. Laying in bed, moving around you can hear the plastic shifting, like a kid wiggling in their bed with the plastic mattress protector on. Then I wondered why my mattress was, after a few days not increasing in size. This protector does NOT let the mattress breathe because it is made of plastic and is NOT breathable. It does NOT keep one's temperature regulated but makes you hot and sweaty. I wish I could return them but I no longer have the box and Meijer won't return them without it even though I have the receipt. I have unzipped them and will use them as long as I can before I pitch them. Might consider their mattress pads if it's really cotton. No, I wouldn't buy again or recommend to anyone.
