Paper thin leather tore after just days
A small tear appeared on the toe of one of the shoes after just 3 or 4 days of use. From the tear, I could see that the leather was paper thin and there was a pure white canvas material underneath. The white material makes the tear very visible. This was my second pair of Allen Edmunds. I did everything right to protect the shoes. I waited until my shoe trees arrived before using the shoes. I applied Saphir Renovateur and wax polish. I did not wear the shoes on rainy days. I have no recollection of stubbing my toe or kicking anything while wearing the shoes. The issue really just seems to be very thin leather on the shoe that tore itself. I expect more out of a shoe this price.
