Not enough words to express how much I love anything All-Clad

I use this pan so much. It’s just perfect. I’m new to stainless steel cooking but the directions are key for a successful beginner. The reason I changed over is because we have been eating peeled-off teflon for too many years. I changed my cutting board to titanium and threw away the plastic and wooden ones.. I use a glass lid with my frying pan from an old set that fits it. Clean-up is amazing, hot water and a paper towel with dish soap does it. I do have the All-Clad stainless steel cleaner but rarely need to use it. My entire kitchen is either All-Clad or Kitchenaid (mixer). AND, I have been cooking new, Mediterrean recipes, spices from Mediterrean Dish, that are healthy and amazing. I chose to buy the 5-ply, copper pans. I can say that getting the 2 quart sauce pan has been impossible so far. I’m not sure why? Yes, I highly recommend!

Slightly mixed bag, mostly happy with it

We've only cooked on this maybe twice now, but are impressed overall. I first bought the very large/ largest copper core pan, and because we've loved that, I decided when I needed to replace a similar skillet (that had a non-stick type finish that was clearly pitted) with the same copper core from AllClad. My biggest complaint has to be the price, and the fact the set of 2 was not available when I did order this pan, otherwise I would have actually paid more to get the smaller skillet as well. There is a lot of "you get what you pay for" in these particular AllClad pans: 1. they are professional quality and essentially they will last a lifetime if properly hand-washed and maintained, 2. they are made in the USA, and any pans that aren't made in China (i.e. USA, Germany, France, or Italy) are quite expensive. The pans I am/need to

All-Clad Cleaning powder is awesome

If anyone struggles with cleaning your cookware: if anything should stick, cool your pan. Add warm water and place it on low to medium heat. This process will loosen anything stuck on and with a slight, low boil, most of it will lift. Pour out the hot water, do not add cold water; use warm soapy water and a microfiber cloth or non-scratch nylon sponge. Also, the All-Clad cleaning powder sprinkled on lightly, will do the trick.

I STAND AMAZED

Oh My Gosh - I Stand Amazed. This 8” frying pan w/o a lid was my first All-Clad purchase. In fact, my first stainless steel pan at all, ever. Honestly, when I opened the box and had this remarkable pan, I was afraid of it. It was expensive and I’ve heard so many horror stories about SS. So I read the directions, and re-read them. I so much wanted to do it right. I hand-washed it with care and admired it. And I looked on-line for the correct sponge so I wouldn’t scratch it. Big sigh, and ready to try it. I heated it on a low, slow heat and then splashed drops of water in it to see the water dance. It did. All systems GO. I use high quality olive oil and put that into the pan, let it heat and then, cracked an egg and dropped it in. That egg cooked to absolute perfection, AND did not stick! I did not use salt. Clean- up was so great. I cooled the pan, used a paper towel to wipe the oil out and washed this beautiful pan with warm water and dish soap. Instead of a sponge, I use a microfiber cloth. It really did look like new and I had faced the “fear dragon”. Yes, I do highly recommend All-Clad cookware to the highest degree. One thing I know is you cannot hurry the cooking process so plan your cooking time to allow the cookware to heat properly. Your result will make you feel like a Chef, and I definitely am not. Next I purchased the 3 quart saucepan with a lid. I ve made yellow rice in it, so far, to perfection, no stick, and easy clean up. I hope this review helps someone. This USA product is amazing! Since, I have purchased the set of three knives. They are amazing too. Top quality, forged knives!!! They will NOT go into the dishwasher either. I’m sold on All-Clad and hope, someday to have all the pieces of the 5 ply copper core pans that make sense for my late-life cooking. I am going to adjust my Will to give this beautiful set of cookware to my niece when I am finished with it, who loves to cook and will respect it the way I do. My review is honest and sincere. I’m really happy to be able to purchase this cookware, even if it has to be piece-by-piece. As I get a new pan, I’m pitching my old pans directly into the trash can. No more eating chipped-off teflon coating!!! All the best to you.

Amazing set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been eyeing this copper core all-clad set for a while and when Bloomies had a sale I had to jump at the chance. They’re amazing, truly beautiful, clean well. They’re also not as heavy as I was expecting. I’m still getting used to cooking with them for some thing but overall thrilled with it my purchase.

SilverFox

I used my copper, 5-ply, 8” frying pan for the first time to make scrambled eggs. I heated it and sprinkled water in it to be sure it was heated properly. The water “danced”, so I poured the eggs in. I had forgotten to put the oil in first. Of course, the eggs did stick but that was my beginner mistake. Can anyone suggest what sponge is best to clean the pan? I used a paper towel and worked on it. Since, I have purchased, and waiting for the All-Clad stainless cleaner to arrive. I will get many good years of use with this beautiful frying pan and am trying to figure out to whom I will leave my All-Clad set in my Will.

8 inch pan

This is second all clad pan for me. It is heavier than 5 D 10 inch one. To keep it not stick you always have to follow instructions. Cleans well, but no dishwasher use.
