Stitch hanging out, can't fix it. Pls help.

It arrived with a very obvious stitch hanging out. My poor elderly mother deserves better as she's in the early ages of Dementia, and I have always thought the Alfred Dunner brand was quality, until now. Don't know what to do. It was the one NICE item I bought for her for Christmas as I cannot afford Alfred Dunner usually. :(
