Perfect fit and gown

I am 5'3" and weigh 125 lbs. The Petite size 8 fit perfectly and the length was good. This gown is classic in design. I will be wearing it at a white Tie gala.

Pretty and Well Made

Very pretty. Fits perfectly on 5'3" 150lb. But not what I have in mind for summer wedding.

A Great Dress for Comfort, Style and Price

This dress is lovely and has a beautiful fit. Very comfortable and flattering. The sheer fabric was a little longer in the front and I didn't have time to take it to a tailor so fortunately I was able to do a quick fix and tuck a couple inches of the sheer under the embellishment at the waist with a safety pin. It happened to be more flattering and accentuated the gathers that were already there. Overall the dress is very well made, however, for the price I would have expected the hemline to have been perfect. If it had been longer in the back I would've thought it was part of the design, however the front was obviously hanging lower than the back and looked odd. I consider this problem a one off so I still give this dress 5 stars.

Elegant Style

I chose this dress for mother of the groom after trying on 18 dresses. Beautiful, elegant lines and the folds at the waist hide the little roll I have developed there in my old age. I'm not crazy about the jewel embelishment at the waistline but I will live with it. I am 140 lbs, 5' 4 and found the 12P to be a little too long (but then I plan to wear flat shoes for my comfort). The chiffon fabric drapes beautifully and give some coverage without being too dowdy - a nice compromise.

Its a good design and though little bit high in price , also the material is not with the price listed worth, and we purchase it since there were no other choice for the same dress.Thanks.

Perfect!

I rarely buy formal evening gowns. When I saw this Alex Evenings Portrait Collar gown, I just had to have it. I will wear it when I go on a cruise again. I love the color and the modest design. It's long for my height but it fits my body. I just have to have it hemmed.
