Beautiful Dress Besmirched by Glitter

This dress is 5 stars for a # of reasons. Color - Lovely taupe w/a slight pink blush cast. Fit - Bodice and jacket are stretch lace, so there's wiggle room in the size. Comfort - Doesn't require a stiff posture to keep everything in place. Dress like a princess with the comfort of a Saturday afternoon on the couch. Quality - Not thin or cheesy. So why 4 stars instead of 5? The glitter! This dress 100% does not need glitter AT ALL! It is a lovely, lovely dress all on its own, that was then attacked by a glitter monster flinging handfuls at it (bodice and jacket only). It comes off EVERYWHERE! I wore it to a wedding, and left glitter ghosts on everyone I hugged. I felt so bad for the mother of the groom in a navy gown with a line of glitter around her shoulders! Before the event, I took it outside and whacked at it to get loose glitter off. Should have tried a lint roller. It's at the dry cleaners now, & I expect them to ban me after having to deal with it.

Too long

Beautiful gown. I am 5’7” and the gown was way too long for me. It would require a lot of alterations to shorten not only the under skirt but the mesh outer layer filled with sequins.
