Arrived damaged and dirty

This item was purchased for me from my baby gift registry. It arrived damaged, with multiple dents and scrapes on the wooden pieces (it looked like it had been used before and sitting in someone's garage for years) and the cushions appear faded and dirty. There was also a strange sticky orange substance on multiple wooden pieces. I am still on hold with customer service (after not getting help from the "chat" for an hour) trying to get a return started. I will not be purchasing furniture from Macy's in the near future due to this experience - I've had much better experiences with other online and in-person stores.

The color is not white and it is more beige! I will return it.
