Great quality and size

Nice size for smaller carry

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For today's sized waist bags, I'd consider this a medium size. A few years ago waist bags were close in size to "mini backpacks" of today! The shape and slimness of this back is very good for flat objects like today's larger smart phones. This can also carry a 4x6 notepad but I'm not sure of a 5x7. I like the mesh pockets inside as well but if at least one could have been made "taller" and perhaps a bit wider, you could use it to hold a phone and the mesh would allow the phone to cool better and generate less heat while carried in the bag. Bag is too small for any but perhaps the smallest of water bottles. I also have the Adidas Rectangle 2 and Amplifier 2 waist/crossbody bags - both can carry an 18-ounce steel bottle. I like the extra plastic loop included with this (and the "Rectangle 2") to attach a clip which can be used to carry additional items - like a bottle with a closed loop handle.
