Did not last long. only about 10 months

It performed well up to a point. For about 10 months, then it went dead. I tried putting new batteries in it and it worked well that day. The next day- nothing happed when I pressed the on button. Nothing happened. I double checked the batteries and they work in other things. But I like the speed at which it ran. Fast, but not too fast. I used for only a cup of black decaf every morning.

Package was in bad shape. Instructions say batteries are included but they were missing.
