This contemporary erotic literature simply didn’t meet my expectations. I am a fairly new reader and currently into romance books. I did not enjoy it all the way through. The book does not start picking up till about chapter 25. The beginning was definitely a slow build. I found my self not coming back to read it for days at a time due to the lack of suspense of it. I truly disliked the main character, I feel like a book should never make you feel like that.

This book was so heartfelt!
This book was so heartfelt! Addicted to You by Krista and Becca Ritchie is a captivating contemporary romance that takes place in a modern urban setting. The story highlights Lily Calloway and Loren Hale, two characters who appear to have it all but are struggling with hidden addictions. In terms of plot, the novel centers around Lily and Loren's journey as they navigate their addictive behaviors and the challenges they face in their relationship. Their romance is complicated by their personal demons, and they must confront these issues head-on to find happiness together. The conflict arises as Lily and Loren grapple with their addictions and the impact they have on their lives and their relationship. Trust is tested and secrets are revealed as they try to overcome their struggles and find a way forward. Throughout the story, the authors explore themes of love, addiction, and personal growth. Lily and Loren are flawed but I think, relatable characters, and readers will find themselves rooting for their eventual triumph over their demons. The resolution of the story I find both satisfying and realistic, offering hope for a brighter future for Lily and Loren as they come to terms with their pasts and take steps toward healing and forgiveness. In conclusion, Addicted to You is a compelling and emotionally resonant romance that will keep readers engaged from start to finish. With its relatable characters and thought-provoking themes, it offers an exploration of addiction and the power of love to overcome even the greatest obstacles. Krista and Becca Ritchie have created a novel that I believe is both heartwarming and thought-provoking, leaving a lasting impression on readers long after they've turned the final page. I loved this book for how relatable it can be, even though these two characters and myself do not have the same struggles, the push and strive to overcome the battles is so inspiring.

Lily & Loren
I enjoyed this book and the introduction to all the Calloway sisters and their partners. I recently purchased Ricochet and Addicted For Now. Lily & Lorens story gets me hyped to read about what Rose and Daisy’s stories with Connor and Ryke. If you’re looking for something easy to read, fun, and steamy you’ll like this book!

“I want to live here. In his arms.”
I am ADDICTED to this book. It honestly made me cry like a babbling baby. I really loved how it gave this vibe of "this is not a big deal" at the beginning, but once you dive deeper into the story you dive deeper into Lily and Lo’s addictions and their love. I love the found family vibe of this story and how these two people who grew up together and found solace in one another, have to open up and sort of rely on others outside of themselves. They’ve depended on each other for so long and while that has built their love, it has also built a habit of toxic enabling as well, so them navigating to healthier is difficult to read, but also beautiful. All in all a great love story and a great story about how love only adds to dependency and enabling in addictions. I cried with Lily when she wanted Lo to get help but didn't know how to help without continuing her own spiral. She was blinded by her love. Not that it's a good thing but it is refreshing to see some compassion for what addicts and their enablers go through. The bonus content was great. I admittedly read this book years ago, but rereading and seeing the start of this love story through Lily’s eyes from the start and then getting a small glimpse from Lo’s POV in the bonus content was perfection. It was hard to read, but also beautiful because seeing another perspective of that made it that much more impactful. The bonus texts were a fun addition. It’s interesting because an outsider reading those texts without context wouldn’t know what they truly are revealing.
