Cheap finish.

We received the table in good time. The package was damaged a bit. We had to assemble the table. Was not sure about this when we purchased it. No problem putting it together. We are not happy with the finish on the top. You would assume that a table would have a finish that is somewhat durable. They are black and I understand it shows everything …dust drips etc.. this top has been covered with a braided piece for the lamp. My wife was dusting and noticed all these marks. I checked it out and wiped it with my hand. Just from my hand the was micro scratch’s. And we have no idea what the other marks are from. We have no kids so I can’t blame them. All in all the table looks great. Don’t expect the top finish to last. I know we didn’t spend a fortune on these but this is not a piece you would put on display and not use. It’s an end table.
