Practical & Good Looking

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Lovely colour and very practical. Most used pan I have, from Bolognaise, curries or just frying. Getting rid of toxic non stick teflon items. Cleans like a dream, just let in soak in hot water for a short while.

Really beautiful but sticks badly no matter what

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pan is really beautiful and looks gorgeous in my kitchen. It also matches my Quartz Jade crockery. Its a great shape to cook a lot of different dishes, though like most cast iron it weighs a lot. The only problem is, it has an area on one side of the base, which, no matter what I do, sticks and burns. The only time it doesn't is if there is sufficient water, but if I am using oil it does happen. I now almost always boil bicarbonate of soda in the pan the loosen the burnt stuck areas, to avoid the need for scrubbing, as I am worried about degrading the surface.

A Staple Piece

Everyone should have one of these! I've had mine for more than five years and it has held up beautifully! I use it for a wide variety of things. It is excellent for pan searing a roast and then putting it right into the oven! Makes a delicious roast.
