I would definitely buy this toy again.

Nice, sturdy, and large enough beads for a 6 1/2 year old boy. He took out a string and started making something as soon as he opened the box. Love the alphabet beads.

OK for Melissa & Doug

The beads are great. I love the letters and the colors, however, unlike other Melissa & Doug bead kits there in no cover to keep the beads in. I have bought for 3 other bead kits all of a smaller size and they all had the sliding clear plastic that keeps the beads it for storage. I think this was a HUGE downfall to the product.

Where's the cover?

I love the Melissa and Doug products and have quite a few of them for my 4yr old. My only complaint about any of them (and especially the beading sets or stamp sets) is that there isn't a cover for the box. They come in these great wooden boxes, but there is no way to close them back up for storage.
