Was purchased to add to existing flatware - same manufacturer, same pattern. Recent purchase was disappointing as each piece of flatware was shorter than previous product and much lighter heft than previous product. I purchased and returned two sets of this flatware.

Absolutely loved the look, but don't buy these. Haven't had them for more than a couple months and they're already rusting awfully. They don't do well in the dishwasher and washing by hand seems to scratch the finish. Wish I could return because I'm definitely not happy with it

Tommy, I am very sorry you are experiencing this with your Elsa Flatware. Occasionally we see a bad batch sneak through our quality checking, although this is very rare, it is a possibility. Sometimes in the finishing process, minor surface defects get brushed over making it very difficult to spot when checking. These minor defects then cause trouble in the washing process. the quality and the design and not to mention the price. I was looking for a nice sophisticated set like this one that was not too high in price. am glad I purchased this set.
looks Nice at first but poor quality
Looks nice But the fork tines started venting in the dishwasher and there are rust stains on the flatware even though it says stainless steel. I am so disappointed I wish I could return it but I can’t get a hold of human being to speak with and it has passed my 90 days

-Although dishwasher safe, the ideal method for washing any flatware is by hand.
-Wash your flatware as soon as possible after use. Some foods can promote staining/corrosion.
-Avoid soaking stainless steel flatware in water for an extended period of time.
-Avoid air drying if possible. Using a soft cloth to dry is beneficial.
-Do not wash your stainless steel flatware with any abrasive or acidic cleaning agents and do not soak flatware overnight.
-Do not use steel wool pads or detergent/polish compounds that scratch stainless steel or the coating.
-Knives are especially vulnerable as the scratch surface becomes more sensitive to rusting.
