More like a laundry basket, not attractive

way overpriced and the wicker breaks with the smaller amount of use. Would not recommend

Very Nice Storage Option

This is a great basket, especially for what I am using it for - holding slippers & socks in my entryway, so people can take off shoes before entering the house. The basket is reinforced with a metal structured interior, to keep it's shape. It is sturdy enough to probably hold someone of average weight who might even need to sit on it, if that became necessary. I could see this being used as an alternative to a storage ottoman in a living room or bedroom as well.
