Better customer service

I called to tell Macy's the package was being delivered to my old address about an hour after I made the order. They said there was a 30 minute window for changing our canceling the order. So now I have to knock on someone's door and try to get my order, or not. People need to be able to make executive decisions especially with all the technology we have. It was impossible to make a call or send an email to cancel the order or change the address especially since my billing address was the same as my new address. They literally told me to wait until I got an email saying it was delivered then call and say I didn't receive it. What a world we live in.
