I bought this kettle to make pour over while traveling. It's compact and water boils quickly. Made coffee and it tasted off. The problem is that while the canister is stainless steel, the lid is plastic! Plastic exposed to high heat leashes chemicals. I won't be using this again.
Perfect Travel Size Kettle!
This is an excellent small travel kettle that heats very quickly. Nice steel interior and snap shut lid with a release button. No plastic odors to this like some of the other brands sold. Do be aware to set expectations as this is MUCH smaller than a regular kettle; 7 inches in height and about 4 1/4" inches across. It heats very quick and should provide enough boiled water for 2-3 cups of tea or instant coffee. The body seems study and well made with minimal external heat transfer. I am concerned about the lifespan of the handle as it makes a cringy click when opening and folding that I expect will eventually be an "unfortunate snap." As another review noted the cord is very short; it is roughly 27 inches in length. I anticipate it will serve well for hotel or even RV use. The photos are it with a regular size Fiesta Ware coffee cup and a cordless laptop mouse for perspective.

Heats up so quick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took around a minute for the water to heat up which is amazing. The top stays secure while pouring. I did look at the price of this right after claiming it on Influenster and I think it’s reasonable. The only negative is that the stainless steel isn’t high quality. There was 2 black specks in the bottom of the kettle as soon as I opened it. I picked them out with my finger and the stainless was so easily scratched. I don’t expect it to be the highest quality for the price and convenience but I personally wouldn’t buy it to use for more than the occasional use to that.

Cute kettle!
