Great pot except for one issue

I bought this pot and the small one in the picture on the web site. The pot is large and very heavy. Made out of Terra Cotta. They is white fine texture over the pot. Unfortunately this white fine texture sheds while the pot is just sitting. I found a thin layer of the texturing material surroundings both bottoms of both pots. I was going to return both pots. But I really like them. Except for this problem. So I put on a mask and brushed both pots. Did this about 4 times until I could not feel any more shedding of the texturing material on the table after the pot has been sitting for a while. Now the pots are ok. They look the same. For the cost of the pots you would think this would be taken care of. This is my only con with the pot. Because of this issue I cannot recommend the pot.
