Let me begin with the fact that I LOVE osprey packs and own several. This commuter bag features great organization with a place for everything you need in a place that makes sense. I especially like the front pouch for quick grab.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For cycling, this feels like you're wearing a sheet of plywood on your back. It is OK for walking around with. It is roomy, and has sufficient pockets. I'm not sure why they went with elastic loops over pen/pencil sleeves. That doesn't seem like an improvement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a backpack to use for work because I got tired of lugging more than one tote or bag to school-I teach. The Flare 27 has exceeded my expectations. It will hold my laptop, planner, and papers to grade. There are plenty of pockets to put pens, highlighters, snacks, deodorant, and more. The outside pockets are stretchy and will hold a water bottle. I’ve even packed an extra outfit for going to the gym after work. I have an Osprey hiking backpack, so I knew this backpack would be worth the price.

Great pack with the quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great pack with the quality I expect from Osprey. The side pockets are deep enough to hold a large water bottle or travel coffee mug while commuting to work on my bike. The computer pocket works great and my 13 iPad fits in the sleeve easily, even with the computer in the bag as well. Feels great. I wish it had a chest strap for when I ride the bike in to work, but that’s on me for thinking I wouldn’t need it. Highly recommend!

My first Osprey backpack and
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first Osprey backpack and I love it so much. It is quality materials and just the right size for all that I needed. I bought this for travel. The outer front pocket was convenient to hold my folded jacket so that I could simply grab it and store it when I needed it. The bag held more than I thought it would.

My daughter has been stuffing

Great backpack! Was looking for
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great backpack! Was looking for something for daily commuting that held a laptop, iPad and notebook while still fitting inside of a saddle bag. This fits that bill perfectly! Well made, solid construction but not overly bulky. Hope to have this one for a very long time.
