Very articulate bag

Everything about this bag is perfect—the compact size, unique color, durability, and overall concept are exactly what I need for hand-carry travel. The only downside is the zipper with padlock loops; I wish it had integrated combination locks since there seems to be a provision for them.

Regret the purchase.

I had a similar wheeled cabin bag for three+decades of business travels. It finally needed to be retired. I purchased this new one thinking it would be the same size. It is not; it is smaller in every dimension. I was forced to use it due to travel timing… and I wish I were able to return it. It is not “new and improved” in my view. It is just not what I expected.

I have it again!

I prefer trains to planes, but since train travel usually includes an overnight, I need to take essentials with me. A few years ago I bought a small train case from you. I served me well. What I had to have with me (plus one change of clothes) was all I needed. The rest of my clothing and non-essentials traveled in the baggage car. Last January 7th, almost the entire town of Altadena, including my house, burned down. I lost almost everything except my pets. I ordered another train case from you. I will also make it my “go bag”, and will keep it in my car. I will add sheets of important information, and be ready to go at a moment’s notice.

Interlocking Handle System No Longer Holds up

I would give this luggage a 5-star rating, but after six trips, the interlocking handle system no longer holds the luggage in place when stacked. The mechanism relies on what I can only describe as a bungee cord—a stretch rubber band that keeps the handle secure. Unfortunately, it has stretched so much that the luggage won't stay in place when pushing it along. I've inspected the bag a few times and noticed that the luggage handlers at check-in tend to use the handle on the back. When they lift it, the weight of what's inside the case pulls on the bungee cord, contributing to the issue. If I could return it, I would, but I’m giving it a 3 star because the color is pretty. Briggs and Riley, please redesign this little piece of luggage.

Very nice - wish it was an inch wider

High quality and great interior organization. The internal laptop pocket is just a bit too narrow for my standard size Dell laptop to go in sideways. And it strains the zipper turned the other way. But I make it work as best I can.

Does not fit under the seat

I like the bag when I took my first trip it did not fit under the seat so I thought maybe it was just that airline. Took my next trip paid for extra room and it still did not fit under the seat. I wish I would of returned it

I think this will be perfect

When I returned from my last trip to Europe, I thought I had found the perfect solution to my 70+ year old shoulders. Check a bag instead of carrying on. Take a small wheeled bag and a small backpack. Turned out that my wheeled under the seat bag had an odd shaped handle and the trolley sleeve on my backpack was useless. I looked at cheaper options to Briggs and Riley. But my first wheeled carry on was a Briggs and Riley almost 30 years ago and the first spinner I bought about 7 years ago was Briggs and Riley. I’m so glad I am wise about something and bought this wheeled cabin bag. I love how it fits on my spinner and the trolley sleeves on my personal items fit perfectly. I can’t wait for my next trip!
