Cool gift ideals

A Nice Throwback

The packaging is a throwback to 'old school' Godiva - which I love. The pieces are beautiful. A few of the pieces were reminiscent of what Godiva used to be, but the rest of them lacked the intensity and flavor of what I expect from Godiva. They changed their recipes and shapes and while they look pretty, the chocolate has a "waxy" texture and flavor that tastes a little cheap. All in all, this Belgian Heritage collection is nice, but in my opinion, could be a little better. Bring back the open oyster, rocher, bouche au chocolat, boucher coeur, caramel nut bouche, etc. The authentic Belgian chocolates are amazing!

Nothing Outstanding!

There was nothing very out of the ordinary in this box. I was disappointed in the variety of the chocolates. The best one was the raspberry with the dark chocolate.

Disappointed: Underwhelming Flavor and Texture

While the smoothness of the chocolates were nice, I was disappointed by the textures in this box: the biscuit bits didn’t pack as much crunch as say crushed nuts/hazelnuts would’ve. The nuttiness wasn’t as pronounced as their other boxes and the raspberry wasn’t very strong. Overall it was quite underwhelming in terms of flavors and textures. I was quite disappointed.

Great variety but too pricey

I loved the 8 pcs version when it was add-on bonus (I purchased the 15 pcs box when it was offered at 40% discount and l liked the additional variety as well) however, I think the original retail price are too high for both. Will buy again when it is on sale.
