Upgraded from basic unit
I had a unit without a pump and took longer to fill and had less faucet flow. Jackson from customer service was great to work with.

I waited a year to write this review!
I was contacted after purchasing the RO Pump Electric Pumped Reverse Osmosis Drinking Water System to write a review but in my opinion that would have been to soon so I waited for over 1 year. Installation was easy and on a 1-5 scale w/5 being difficult I would say this was 2.5 only because working under any sink sucks. The system has been without any problems or malfunction and still running perfect. Prior to installing the system my parts per million (ppm) was 485, after installation it dropped to 11-18ppm and today 13 months later it just read 14ppm. I could not be happier with this system and how it works. My coffee, pasta and rice tastes 100X better and there was now no need to buy spring water, it tastes great. Oh, and I haven't had to descale my coffee maker for the past 13 months either.

Great product and wonderful service.
I worked with multiple companies trying to get help in solving our high (998 ppm) TDS issue. A few years back we put in sediment and carbon filters, along with chlorine injector (to kill rotten egg odor), and a softener. We thought the water was pretty good but knew we still had high TDS. We bought the RO-Pump model based on help from APEC Customer Support. I installed it in the basement under the refrigerator and use it only for the refrigerator. Installation was super simple and easy. We can't believe how much better the water tastes now. I even think it feels different. Customer Support was FANTASTIC with their help and patience. Thank you APEC!!!

Simply an Excellent Product
I was replacing a very old RO unit for our kitchen. The old one wasn't working very well and couldn't drive enough pressure to our refrigerator & Ice Cube maker. Daniel at APEC steered me toward the RO-PUMP and viola'! Great tasting water, ice cubes galore and cold water from the refrigerator. The service Daniel provided was exceptional and made the entire order process a breeze. We bought the 3/8" upgrade along with the RO-PUMP. It really is very easy to install one of these units. I had it in and working in about an hour. Can't recommend APEC enough! Made in USA! Thanks APEC team. Great job!

How could it be so easy?
We bought this for a vacation house with a well that had been tested as above the limit on radiation. A R/O setup was mandatory. With low pressure there we bought the pump system. What's most amazing is that for such a complicated little device, it proved to be easy to install. The instructions are written clearly and well illustrated. With all the steps it could be difficult but I just took my time, followed the tips, used the recommended sequence, and it all worked. I've done small plumbing things like this before so the concepts were not new. If you've never done any of your own simple plumbing, it would likely be more challenging. The photos were great. How many times have you had to stare at instructional photos and wonder what the heck the instructions mean. Not in this case. Everything just made sense. I was also pleased by the footprint of the unit and its installation flexibility. I did turn the storage tank on its side as allowed. I was able to find a way to position the unit under a somewhat cramped kitchen sink and still have room for cleaning supplies and such. I made the mistake of not running the line for the ice maker while I had everything opened up so I'll have to go back and do that later. That would be the one thing I'd change.
