This cleanser gets your face so clean, but not overly dry. A little goes a long way, one pump is enough.

Faithful Clarins Client

I have used Clarins for over 30 years, cleanser/toner/moisturizer etc. The Gentle Foaming Cleanser with shea butter was discontinued, so I tried the Gentle Renewing Cleansing Mousse. No comparison. The mousse is okay but it takes quite a lot to get a comparable foam, which means it won’t last nearly as long and it is expensive. It does clean minimal makeup, however, if using foundation, I need micellar water to remove makeup prior to using the cleanser. In addition, my skin does not feel as soft as usual.
