Nice jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nice jacket, fits well. Good for temperatures in the 40-50s. Pocket fleece could be a bit sturdier.

Columbia always delivers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good jacket that will keep you warm due to its Omni-heat reflective technology. Perfect for a morning hike or outdoor activities when the weather is cold during fall and winter season.

Warm, functional, and stylish

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jack is indeed warm as advertised and I can tell the omni-heat lining is doing exactly what it was designed to. With the hood and pockets it's very functional for everyday use. I do wish it had a chest zipper pocket for my phone to leave the side pockets free for my hands and keys, etc but that's not a huge issue. The inside areas are great for tucking a pair of gloves or tissues if needed. And the jacket looks GREAT. The only thing tricky about the fit is the sizing for my shoulders and arm length. If I went to a LARGE, it would be too big, but a MEDIUM size fit nicely except it restricted my arms a little much if I was going to be very active and reaching a lot in this jacket.

Fits great, Needs improvements

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A swing and a miss (x2). I have bought 2 jackets recently, an Oak Harbor II and this thinner Powder Lite II. While I love the size and fit of both, and have been a long time Columbia supporter, I hadnt used (Columbia) jackets like these for a little while, especially for activities that are strenuous, i.e. - skiing and hiking. Where I am going is that the materials used in these (reflective foil backed elements?) absorb and retain oder more adversely than similar products by (other) manufacturers with products in the same category. Sadly, it only takes 1 wearing in a strenuous athletic capacity before its noticeable. I tried to circumvent this by layering, using a thin wool bottom layer, another secondary layer, but to no avail. The jackets pick up and retain B.O. This requires almost constant laundering. Not convenient. Im not a uniquely malodorous individual, but I play hard. As mentioned, I have used similar products by others, for years, and never had this experience. I could go 10-15 hard days in each before it needed laundering. The materials they employed in the sleeve/armpit area were much more resistant to oder. Columbia needs to consider this. Lastly, pockets. I like the pockets on the oak harbor variant, but where is the breast pocket(s) on the powder lite? At least one, exterior, interior (preferably both). Unfortunately, I regret the purchase of both at this juncture. I still like and use all other Columbia products without the "foil" lining.
