DysonV15 Detect Cordless Vacuum

Doing my happy dance with my new Dyson

I bought this less than a month ago. I have 2 other Dyson's. The original one I got for Xmas in 2017. Another Dyson v15 Absolute for Xmas 2024 & a 2nd Dyson v15 Absolute for my trailer just about 3 weeks ago. I bought a cheaper off brand model but there was a design flaw in it, so I sent it back, & figured I'd go back to my tried & true, Dyson. This model really sucks. I mean it gets the dirt out of my carpets, sand, & everything else that accumulates in my home & trailer. I got lots of attachments for cleaning, floors, carpet, upholstery, nooks & crannies. I can get under my couch & beds easily with this vacuum. The battery lasts long enough for me to clean a LR & 3 BRs with carpeting, & a Kitchen & DR with ceramic floors. I love the light that shows where the dirt is on the floors so I don't have waste any better life by going over a floor a few times just to make sure I get all the dust up. Emptying & cleaning out excess dirt from it, is simple. Cleaning it out is easy. I had to go look up on YouTube how to assemble it because it is different than the other Dyson I have even tho it's the same model. I really like how it captures the dirt. Even the finest powdery dust is caught in the dirt bin. Oh, and suction power is really great. The two things I feel are a drawback is the dust bin is quite small compared to my original Dyson, & it's heavy; heavier than I expected especially if I want to lift it up to vacuum high places. I give this vacuum 4.5 *

Great cordless vacuum

A little on the heavy side but does an amazing job. Very happy with the suction, great on wooden floors & the turbo function on carpet is terrific. Battery OK but would prefer simething that lasted more than 1 hiur. Otherwise, fantastic machine. Best cordless I’ve had

Wish we bought one years ago

Fantastic! We have mostly carpet and it’s great to see how much dust this vacuum sucks up with each use. I do find it pretty hard to push on carpet as it sucks so well but it gives me a good workout :) With the push of a button it is very easy to empty and stores well with the wall hanging attachment included.

Great suction power

I bought the v15 about a month ago. We are very impressed with the suction power, which has out-performed our upright Dyson and during the first clean we had to empty the v15 after every room. It is a bit heavier than our old v8, however it goes under the sofas more easily and as said much better power. Battery lasts a long time also and hair doesn't get stuck on the brushes so no more pulling out 3 heads of hair worth. Only downside is it's a bit messy to empty and rubbish gets stuck behind a rubber seal in the tank.

Great Product

Had this product a few weeks now and the improvement in the cleaning performance over my previous hoover is immense. I can clean the house in half the time and with a much better result. Highly recommended.

Really good. Huge improvement on earlier model in terms of suction, capacity, battery life and ease of use.
