works for 8ft ceiling.

beautiful fan with quiet motor and excellent circulation. I have 8 ft ceiling and it works perfectly for me. the fan is at the foot of the bed. it is semi-flush mount at best (shows old ceiling paint) and my 6 ft 2 in electrician was able to stand under it. after the crystals are added, it is about 31 inches from the ceiling.
