I have read the entire collection of the land of stories to my kids. Both boys ages 10 and 13 now but when we started they were 8 and 11. I read a chapter every nite before bed on school notes. The prolog and epilogue’s would set the scene and remix us where we left off before summer break and give us insight into what was to come in the fall. Leaving us excited and craving more. I haven’t found any other book series or really any book that left my boys begging me to read more every nite. I have read books my whole life from authors like Gary Paulson who leave u always craving more Chris colder is that kind of author. My kids and I loved it I’m sure you and yours will too. I have recommended this to teachers and friends as a matter of fact that’s why I don’t have all the books in the series now I began passing the series down as we finished each one to my neighbors child who loves them as much as my family has.
