Not What I Expected...
As a mattress topper, this product has been uncomfortable and tends to slip under the covers, often falling off the bed. Why 3 Stars? Despite these issues, when I placed it between my mattress and box spring, it worked wonders. I would recommend giving that a try!

Not made for an 86 year old
This topper is probably great for a younger person. At 86 yrs old I found it to be too much: 3" is way too high for me to get in and out of bed. The zones I found uncomfortable. The center zone which is former felt like a hard lump. I am waiting for my daughter to come so she can try to pack it up and return. It didn't work for me. Too much going on with this model.

Very firm, heavy mattress topper.
The quality of this mattress topper was excellent. It came with the cover on and was almost fully expanded. No odor. But quite heavy for an 80 yr old to maneuver into place. It was a 3 inch queen. My last one was a two inch and extremely easy to place-different brand. My problem with this topper was that it was too firm. I was putting it over a newly purchased mattress that was too firm and I wanted a softening effect. Was just the opposite. Would be great if your mattress was old and you needed more support. Additionally I found it way too warm. So it was returned.
