A Frustrating Workbook

I bought this book at Barnes & Noble on August 13, 2023. I have tried using it since then and have just found it frustrating and unpleasant. The way the book is laid out just doesn't work for me at all. I have used other Practice Makes Perfect books before and have found them useful, but I definitely will not be finishing this one. The book has a "memory practice" after each dialogo, which to me serves no purpose at all. Then it has exercises that are just way too long. 38 items for 1 single exercise is just excessive in my view. For comparison, the Basic Italian workbook has exercises that are generally about 10 items long and the Complete Italian Grammar book has exercises that are usually about 10-20 items long and the longer exercises are split up nicely. This book just does not flow very well. It's a chore to work with and I just don't want to do it anymore. Stay away from this book and use other Practice Makes Perfect books instead.
