Received Damaged...

I received this order before 12/25/2024, yet I did not examined the contents once delivered. It is very well made. However, the item had a hole in it that appears to be the remnants from a sensormatic security tag. I wanted to return the item but my grandson does not want to part with it. I have called Macy's Customer Care Support Team twice. The first representative put in a claim with the vendor (third party) and assured me that as a courtesy I would be credited a full refund for this damaged item and could keep it. The second representative confirmed that a claim has been submitted to the third party vendor. I am still awaiting the outcome of this claim. Thank you for your attention to this matter, JAE
