this is described as adjustable color and it is not. only one button to turn the light on and off. after I received this and could not figure out the color adjust I looked at other websites with the exact same light. They all listed this as daylight only not adjustable. also less cost then this "sale" price on Macys

Poorly designed and not worth the price

Poorly designed light! The light pole comes in three pieces and then screws into a base. The part that screws into the base is not long enough to hold it in place or support the pole. So the entire light leans and easily comes apart. The base does not rest firmly flat are carpet so it has to be propped against something or it falls over. Given the price of the light I expected to get a better quality product.

Good lamp

Lamp was present for my mother in law. She loves it and can read much better and didn't actually have to get new reading glasses.

Bought this for my sewing room. Bright and perfect! I was hesitant due to the cheap price, but I’m sooo glad I bought it. It was extremely simple to assemble with thorough instructions. The gooseneck is flexible with light positioning and the base is heavy and extremely sturdy and stable. I’m 60 years old and good lighting is important for my eyes to function properly without tiring, especially with sewing tasks. I don’t want to fail to mention this lamp is also dimmable, if needed. Point being, whatever you’re doing, if you need great lighting, this lamp is it!

Beyond satisfied

Excellent reading lamp

If you need a floor lamp for reading, this is it. It has a rheostat to adjust the brightness, the "on" button is lighted so it is easy to find and it is quite functional. My wife reads alot and she loves it.
