t’s slightly lighter than the 2007 old-model Vitavit that I bought, but the functionality is excellent. With three pressure settings, it allows for a wider variety of cooking, and the results are guaranteed to be delicious.

Worthwhile Upgrade
I replaced my Vitaquick after over a decade (it needs some replacement pieces and a little love, but still going strong - I gifted it to a friend) and this new pot is worthy of the price. The valve is so much easier to attach and remove which is nice, but the machine’s ability to hold the pressure with more precision is the game changer. I make beef bones stews with chayote (mirilron) which is a member of the squash family. It is mostly made of of water and inevitably disintegrates in stews. Not with my new boy. Each chunk tenuous held its shape almost like a custard. Very impressive.

The new pressure cooker I bought is leaking. I wrote to the sales service but they didn't offer a solution.

Insert?
The size is great - yet I'm disappointed because you don't have an insert for this 1.9 quart size. I found the glass lid but not the steamer insert on your website or anywhere else. Thus, I have yet to use my small Pressure Skillet.

Fissler Vitavit
I have had a pressure cooker for over 15 years that started to leak recently. In order to replace it, I performed lots of research to ensure I would be getting the best option. When I read other reviews, good and bad, I thought I needed to give it a try. I purchased this pressure cooker due to all the security safeguards that it has and I don’t regret it. It is not the most reasonably priced option because it really is in the expensive range but every dollar spent in it is worth it. I highly recommend.

Solid Cooker that serves you will
This is my second cooker. I had to get larger one. No matter how good the product is, once in a while you need a support. I had lost a small rubber seal, and it was losing the pressure. Not only Fissler identified the problem, Fissler also sent me the missing part. I highly recommend it.

Do not buy
Despite replacing the parts, the pressure cooker continues to leak, especially when the heat is set too high. I find myself having to stand by the stove to monitor the pot until it builds pressure, and even then, the leaking begins—requiring me to adjust the heat. More concerning, the pot sometimes leaks even at low heat. When this happens, I have to depressurize it, reopen the lid, and make several adjustments before it finally seals properly. I must express my disappointment, especially considering the high cost of this product. At this price point, I expected a reliable appliance that would seal easily and function without constant supervision. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I would not feel comfortable recommending this pressure cooker to others.

My Mini Fissler
Love this smaller size to go along with my larger Fissler. Perfect for so many things. Works just as well as the larger available pressure cookers and is as equally robust. Easy to use, easy to clean! Highly recommend.
