Terrible Lamp Shade

For the price, it’s not a bad lamp. But the Velcro lampshade is very small, and you can see the clips. It’s not worth it for me to take it apart, box it up, drive to the mall, and return it. I’m hoping to find a real lampshade to replace the piece of junk that came with it. But I don’t recommend buying this lamp.

Redecorating-one lamp at a time.

This lamp is perfect for my area. The light gives off a cozy feeling sitting behind the recliner.

poor quality

This lamp is not worth the money. I’m disappointed in the quality of this lamp. Macys has changed their standard. It’s very thin and poorly made. I do not recommend this lamp. I would return it if my husband hadn’t put it together and discarded the box. The shade is held together by a small piece of Velcro. It’s not one solid piece.

Very Happy With This Lamp

This is the second Brightech lamp I've purchased and both have exceeded expectations. The Montage works perfectly behind our couch. We did not have any trouble getting it to stand straight after some adjustment to the bottom attachment. I appreciate that others mentioned the shade is tan as opposed white. Fortunately the tan works in our room but if I had been expecting white like the photos I would have been disappointed. That said, the shade packaging, assembly and design is brilliant. What a smart way to ship a typically large sized item. I will definitely continue to shop Brightech for our future lighting needs.

Bright light to sit right under

Lamp materials quality and shipping experience are great. I love the look of the lamp in my room. The light is so bright that I really think the lamp needs a diffuser disk at the bottom of the shade, however, and I am experimenting with how to fix the issue — 40 watt bulb might work (comes with a 60). It is not a tall lamp and the light is super close to the person on the couch.
