Wonderful book!

I am a teacher, and I think this is a wonderful little book for teaching children that it is what is on the inside that really matters. As with many of Dr. Seuss's beloved books, there is a good life lesson in it. I hope it continues to be read by generations. It is a permanent staple in my classroom.

Sneetches Get Steetches

This book may seem harmless and innocent, but it has completely ruined my life. This tale will brainwash you into becoming a snitch, constantly tattling on all of your friends and family. Shortly after reading this book, I watched my younger sister bite our dog, Itchy, and I felt my body drag me across the house to tell my parents. Not only was she disciplined, but later this book flew at my stomach, leaving a gash that required stitches. To this day, I still have a star shaped scar on my belly from this traumatic experience. Since then, I have always been a snitch, altering the shape of my social life and stomach permanently. This book has changed me as a person, and I although I am a fan of Dr. Seuss's work, I have struggled to forgive him for what he has done to me.
