Will this skirt hold up after wash & wear?

I ordered this skirt in 3 different colors (white, blue, and green) and 2 sizes (S & M). This skirt has a nice fit (not too much difference in between the sizes because of the stretch in the fabric but the M lays better. For reference I wear size 8/10. I also love the length. I’m 5’6” and it comes to my ankle. The only issue I have is that you can see the pockets through the fabric, especially on the white one. Not sure if ordering the size L would hide how much the pockets would show through. The fabric has a nice sheen to it but I’m wondering how it will hold up because I already started seeing some pilling where my seatbelt laid across my lap. I will keep the green skirt in the size M and return the others. Time will tell whether this skirt will hold up once it’s washed and worn a few times. I’m glad I was able to purchase it on sale!
