Won’t go past preheat. Uses up all liquid by constantly steaming.

great silent pressure cooker

I bought it solely for pressure cooking. Really is silent when you vent & without spewing liquid. I’ve had older versions, those are loud & messy when venting. I also love this modern, gray color. The 8qt is perfect for my family of 6. The 6qt was a bit tight.

Terrible Product Compared With Older Model

I bought this to replace my Instantpot that was lost in a house fire and this version doesn't even come close to my Duo 8! Hard boiled eggs take 7 minutes, meats and veggies all take significan additional time to get fork tender results. when it decompressed, it doesn't always release the lid. And I know these aren't the best slow cookers, but the function is practically nonexistent on this version! I'm so very disappointed.
