My husband and I bought this book as a guide to start eating in the Mediterranean style. At first, flipping through it looked great, planning out an entire meal for you for 28 days. We even went to the grocery store prepared to spend a lot of money (and we did - a $300 grocery bill for it all). At this point, we were still feeling confident. Here I am, writing this on our second day and it honestly, I am not impressed. The food is average tasting and the serving sizes are seriously strange. Some things we end up have extras even after eating dinner and having it for lunch the next day as it plans out. I can't help but think we would have been better off just finding Mediterranean recipes online, planning our meals weel by week as we usually do, and doing our normal exercise. I guess if you are in dire need of a lifestyle change, this may be for you. But if you are capable, just make a plan week by week on your own. You'll save money and time.
