The inside of the lid get dirty if full to the top. The garbage bag is difficult to put inside.

The lid
The lid does not stay down. Unless you can somehow position the bag in a different way so it can close. Mostly ours just stays up and I don't like it. I didn't know I had to be taught how to use a garbage can.

Time to take the trash out? Maybe not in this can
Upon opening the box the trash can came in I discovered it is not that sturdy of a kitchen trash can. It feels too lightweight and easily dent Also, it needs to be set away from the wall to open it. Otherwise the backside of the can pushes against the wall and is awkward. A trash can is something people tend to keep for a long time and this one doesn’t feel like it would last a few years without someone wanting something sturdier.

Smudge Free Soft Close Trash Can
This step can is lightweight and the shape is perfect for my corner. The liner is very easy to change. It is a step trash can and the soft close lid works without making any noise. It is smudge proof. It goes well with all the other stainless steel appliances I have at home and I totally love it!!!
