Effective but a bit too sheer
This shade isn't quite as vivid as Strawberry Rhubarb and Orange Marmalade. Like Bramley Apple, it needs multiple coats, and I often use Mellow the Yellow to make it stand out a bit more. It's great as a nail rescue, but needs a bit of "help" in the color department. I might try layering it with something like Afters or Proper Do.

Fun summer color
I like layering this one on its own or with Mellow the Yellow for glazed donut nails. I might try it over a pink or red lacquer at some point in the fall, or adding a red lacquer to darken the shade.

My favorite Jelly Preserve shade
I love wearing this one on its own, with Mellow the Yellow, over other orange lacquers like Pop Orange or Empire Red, etc. It needs probably the least amount of layering (for my nails, at least) to "pop," and it does wonders for my nails.

Effective but a bit too sheer
On its own as a nail strengthener, it doesn't really show up much until you've painted on about three coats; even then, I kind of need something like Mellow the Yellow to bring out its green color. That being said, I might try painting it over a green lacquer like Royal Emeralds.

Amazing
The ridges from overfiling my nails dissapeared jn only a couple weeks. My nails look and feel stronger. The plum is a great color, a light wash of neutralizing purple in 1 coat, building up to a pretty orchid tone with 3 coats. While I love extensions, my nails had been in rough shape and this formula allows one to wear a strengthener that has a bit of a glow to it. I have it in one of the other colors and will continue to use it. My tiny nails love the thin rounded brush, it doesnt flood my cuticles and it dries a little slow but not any worse than nail polish imo.

Doesn't hold up to Sally Hansen
I did SH on one hand, and Butter's plum jelly strengthener on the other to protect brittle nails. Butter's sadly peels, loses shine, and didn't prevent extreme breakage that happened. SH chips but at least the nails are not coming apart. Bought it because of instagram but best to just stick to what you know

New to Butter London
I just discovered Butter London nail products, and I particularly like the “Marmalade Jelly”s. Have bought about all of them and have not been disappointed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a 7 year verified beauty expert, its not often I feel as though certain products were made for me, but I feel that this butter LONDON Jelly Preserve Strengthening Treatment in Strawberry Rhubarb is for me. So, I love nail polish but often love my bare nails, letting them breathe, especaily in between my gel nails. I want to give my nails a rest a chance to strenghthen, rest, air out as it were. So, here is the perfect solution of nutrition and a light, shiny color so they can look and feel great as they get healthier. I love the second skin, all dau nourishment that it delives to all nails, especially those afflicted with dry, brittle nails. two weeks with this on my nails and they feel as good as new and ready for the next onsalught of crazy, fun colors to match my ever changing mood **This review was collected as part of a promotion.
