Beautiful and affordable dinnerware
This dinnerware set is beautiful! The teal and brown shiny glaze interior is different for every piece, giving a real handmade feel, as does the slightly irregular shape of the pieces. The outside is a black glaze, only slightly shiny, which gives a touch of elegance. The dinner plates are large but can still fit in the dishwasher, and i love that it comes with two sixes of bowls as well as the two sizes of plates. Some reviewers have said that these chip easily but i have dishwashed the set once and used them this week, about to go in the dishwasher for a second time and so far, so good.

Don't Purchase
Horrible! I've only had these dishes for 3 months and 6 of them have big chips in them! I am the only one using them! Waste of money.

No quality control.
Dishes are all crooked/warped. Don't sit flat/rock. Have lots of glaze imperfections. And I bought 2 sets of them. Regret buying them.

JUNK
I bought these for my first apart and as soon as I open it, the large bowl had a chip on it. So disappointing. I contacted the manufacturer for a replacement and never heard back from them. I have used them for 6 months now. Another big bowl has a chip in the top just as the one bowl came. And now one of the plates!! I am so disappointed. I had been extremely excited to receive them as they are gorgeous. But they are JUNK! I also only hand wash my dishes. I should not have treat be extremely fragile with them. This is horrible. I will never own another set of Gibson dishes!!!!!! WASTE OF MONEY!!!!
